I've never had matcha outside of Starbucks, so I can't compare, but theres no way we can take the sweetness out of the powder. If you're a matcha fan, the matcha in the u.s. and light ice, because just a little more oat milk makes it even more smooth. yum! I like myself an iced chai with oat milk and ristretto shots. less hot water = smoother, bolder flavor. not only is it free+ literally no hassle to do, it's also just.better. If you decide to get expresso drinks again, order "ristretto". So, question! do you like things sweet? strong? smooth? (that barista can suck it with their attitude and get lost) You can put any syrup, milk, foam, or any addition that we have to any drink on the menu! so if you like your drinks sweet, get a nitro with pumpkin sauce and pumpkin cream cold foam! if you like them sweet and milky, get your fav milk in there! anything four ounces and under is free, so fire away friend! we can't put ice in nitros due to health code! if you like ice in your drinks, get a regular cold brew. if Starbucks expresso aint your thing, I'd recommend a nitro cold brew with pumpkin syrup! the Starbucks menu is customizable to a crazy level (as tiktokers found out very quickly). (Or be told to stick to my fake garbage coffee like I was in the other Reddit by a barista □ I realize Starbucks employees feel really strongly about their coffee, but when someone has had like 9 cups of coffee in their life and is just trying to figure out what they like.? I wasn't trying to insult the coffee!)Īye I gotcha! I'm sorry you had that experience with that person :( So, I was thinking maybe a cold brew or nitro cold brew? So like if I wanted basically a PSL version of a cold brew or nitro, how do I order that? I don't want to be a pain. So I'm trying to figure out how to get something like that in store because the bottled stuff is harder to find where I am now that I've moved. What I do love is the bottled Starbucks Frappuccino drinks and the new PSL cold brew in a bottle because it's coffee flavor without being bitter. The few times I was able to go I'd order something like a white mocha latte or other espresso based drink and find it really bitter, even with half the shots. I grew up in a town without a starbucks for 100 miles in any direction.
